Thanks Bruce. That's what I have also.

  

It's my belief Henry and Pearl lived common law before they got married, 26
Nov 1957. The first 3 children have a Winters surname while the rest have a
Patterson surname. Henry and Pearl divorced 1989.

OBITUARY

Patterson, Henry Arthur - 64, Hodgeville, Pictou County, died Monday in
Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital, Pictou. Born in Hodson, Pictou County, he
was a son of Margaret (Redmond) Patterson and the late Kenneth Patterson. He
was a fisherman and labourer and spent a short time in the Canadian Armed
Forces. He is survived by five sons, **Robert, Caribou** ; **Charles,
Toronto** ; Alfred, Truro; Kevin, New Brunswick; Chester, Bigney; two
daughters, Carol (Mrs. Vincent Moore), Musquodoboit Harbour; Phyllis, Halifax;
three sisters, Dorothy (Mrs. Everett Robertson), Barney's River; Jean
Langille, Debert; Frances, Hodgeville; many grandchildren. He was predeceased
by a brother, Clarence. The body is in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John,
visiting 2-4, 7-9 today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Murray
Graham officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Hamilton Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or any charity.

MACKAY (Winters) (Patterson), Pearl Irene

  

MACKAY (Winters) (Patterson), Pearl Irene - 76, of Scotsburn, passed away
suddenly February 16, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Five
Islands, N.S., she was a daughter of the late Wylie and Ester (Corbett)
Winters. Pearl liked to play cards, especially solitaire, put together puzzles
and knit. Surviving are her children, **Robert, Caribou** ; Carol, Truro;
Alfred, River John; Albert, Pictou; Phyllis, Ontario, and Chester, B.C.; 11
grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two nephews; three nieces. Pearl was
predeceased by her husband, George MacKay, **son, Charles (1996** ), daughter,
Donna Darlene, sister, Ann, (2012), brother, Albert (1986), and a brother and
sister in infancy. A private family service will be held in Hamilton Cemetery,
River John at a later date.

Winters, Charles (Chuck) - Chuck passed away at 40 years of age in Toronto,
Ont., on October 24, 1996. Chuck is survived by his mother, **Pearl** ;
sisters, Carol, Middle Musquodoboit, and her children and grand-daughter;
Phyllis, Enfield; Maryann, Pictou; brothers, **Robert** , Kevin, Pictou;
Chester, River John; Alfred, Alma. He was predeceased by his father,
**Arthur** ; sister, Donna. Chuck will be missed by his many nieces, nephews
and aunts, Frances, Jean, Dorothy and Ann. A memorial service will be held in
Toronto, Saturday, November 2, as arranged by Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home. A
service will be held at River John at a later date.

Theresa Mae Corbett ...1941 - 2020

Age 78 of Central Caribou, passed away May 29, 2020 in the Palliative Care
unit of Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, with her granddaughter Amy Winters and
her daughter Lillian Carr by her side. She was predeceased by her parents,
Jack and Mary (Walsh) MacPhee; her husband, Eli Corbett; sons, Jimmy and
Shaun; and six sisters and one brother. She is survived by her son, Roddie
(Connie), Pictou; daughters, Lillian (Leroy), Montague, P.E.I.; **Shirley
(Robert),** Central Caribou; Lois (James), Pictou; Lisa (Steven), Pictou; 12
grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A service
will take place at a later date. Donations in Theresa's memory may be made to
Diabetes Canada or Central Caribou Cemetery.
