FIEVET, GERMAIN PIERRE "JERRY" 77 years old, passed away peacefully at his
home in Hemford Forest, New Germany, Nova Scotia after an extended illness.
Jerry was born December 22, 1934 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Julius
Fievet and Helen (Hollock) Fievet. He had an active life which included work
in varied careers in the United States and Canada, military service in the
U.S. Army, and a life-time love of playing country music on guitar. He is
survived by beloved wife Marian Joyce (Spicer) Fievet, step-daughter
Jacqueline, step-son Jeffery, and sons Mario, Sean and Joseph, as well as many
family members and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers Julius and
Alfred. Jerry's family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all care-
workers, medical professionals, and friends that provided comfort and
assistance to him throughout his illness. There will be no service per his
request. Donations to the SHAID Tree Animal Shelter, Bridgewater, Nova Scotia
(902) 543-4849 may be made in Jerry's name in lieu of flowers.

Obituary of Germain Pierre Fievet

  

Fievet, Germain Pierre (77) - passed away at home on Wednesday April 25, 2012.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama; he was a son of the late Julius and Helen
(Hollock). Germain is survived by his wife Marian (Spicer); sons Mario,
Kentucky; Sean, Oregon; Joseph, Florida; stepson, Jeffery Everett, Texas; and
stepdaughter, Jacqueline Bosgraaf. Besides his parents he is predeceased by
his brothers Julius and Alfred. There will be no service at the families
request. Private interment will be held at the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in
Germain's memory may be made to the Shaid Tree Animal Shelter. Arrangements
are under the care and direction of Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192
Commercial Street, Berwick, Nova Scotia B0P 1E0. Donations or condolences may

LYONS, Mary Louise Spicer - 93, Berwick, Kings Co., passed away October 5,
2003, in Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater, surrounded by her
family and friends. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Frederick
B. and Louise (Zwicker) Patterson. Mary had an active life with varied
interests; she was a business woman and had managed the Steadman's store in
Berwick; owned and managed several retail properties in Florida and managed a
fabric shop in Massachusetts. She lived with tenacity and enjoyed life, people
of all ages, and was a mentor to many. She was a talented artist and enjoyed a
wide range of activities. She was a member of Berwick United Church. Surviving
are her son, William (Elisabeth) Spicer, Masset, B.C.; daughters, Marian Joyce
(Germaine) Fievet, Hemford; Lynda (William) Wildes, Mont Vernon, N.H.; eight
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister,
Edna Jean Patterson; brother, F. Gesner Patterson. Visitation will be held
12:30 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, in H.C.
Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick, Rev. Donald MacPherson officiating with a
reception to follow in the upper chapel. Burial will take place at a later
date in Berwick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made
