In Loving Memory

It is with great sadness that the family of Harold Stemper Fage age 91, of
Amherst announce his passing on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Gables Lodge.

  

Born in Amherst, Harold was a son of the late Rae and Annie (Lamb) Fage.

  

Harold was a hard work individual and began his career at CN and later was
employed at Fletcher-Coates Dairy for 25 years and then at Brookfield Dairy
for another 25 years.He looked forward to his daily trip to MacDonald
Restaurant and catch up with friends over a cup of coffee and a cheeseburger.

  

Harold will be lovingly remembered by his children, Margaret (Wayne) Van
Snick, Lois (Leo) Wells and Stephen (Kim McGill-Ford) Fage; seven
grandchildren Kirsten Richard, Taylor Richard, Shaelin Fage, Samantha Fage,
Savannah Fage, Terri Van Snick and Christopher Ford; great grandsons Bronson
"Swanson" and Kade Elliott, and Carter Cormier; special sister-in-law, Leta
(Rod) Briggs; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

  

The last surviving member of his immediate family, Harold was predeceased by
his wife, Jennie R. (Berry) Fage; daughter, Christine Fage; sisters, Doris
Rushton, Dorothy McManaman, Florence Lyman; brothers, Donald, John, and Lyman.

  

Due to the COVID-19 circumstances the funeral service will be livestreamed on
Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 11:00 am with Mr. Brian Wood officiating and you

Harold will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Amherst Cemetery at a later
date.In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Harold's memory can
be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Diabetes
Association.
