Vennessa K. MacAloney

  

  MacAloney, Vennessa K. - Age 74, of Parrsboro passed away Friday, April 24,
2020 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre (Infirmary Site), Halifax. Born in
Truro, she was a daughter of the late Elwin and Jean Barrett, and step-mother,
Iona (Hughes) Barrett. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd; daughters, Norma
Jean; Lynn Neil (Harry Taylor), all of Truro; a son, Charles (Rhonda),
Parrsboro; grandchildren, Natasha Neil, Delaney Neil; Katrina MacDonald (Paul
Anderson); great grandchildren, Brianna, Brooklyn, Bryson and Hayden Anderson.
She was predeceased by a sister, Joan (MacKenzie) Martin; brothers Gordon
Barrett, George MacKenzie, Don MacKenzie; Billy MacKenzie; a son-in-law,
Steven Neil. At this time of Covid-19, private family services are being held
at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of
Canada.

BARRETT, Gordon Elwin - 68, Truro passed away July 26, 2012 in Colchester
Regional Hospital, Truro,  Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Elwin and
Jennetta (Pelton) Barrett. He is survived by sister, Vennessa (Lloyd)
MacAloney, Parrsboro; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He
was predeceased by sister, Joan; brothers, Donnie, George and Billie. Funeral
mass was held July 31 in Immaculate Conception Church, 669 Prince Street,
Truro with Father Francesco Pirisi officiating. Interment in Immaculate
