William Wallace Wood m/1 Emily Corris Greenfield; both from River Hebert

  

Vivian Grace Wood was born 1908 in Parrsboro

  

Emily Corris (Greenfield) Wood died 1911 in Parrsboro leaving a widower with 5
young children.

  

In 1921, William is living in Halifax and had daughter, Vivian with him. He
m/2 the widow Ethel (Drover) Schneider with 3 children in 1920. William and
Ethel have issue of a daughter, Ruth Alice Wood (1920-1922).

  

William and Emily's son, Clayton Bernard Wood, born 1903 Parrsboro m/1 Violet
Maisy Drover, a relative of his step-mother, Ethel Drover.

  

William dies 1928, age 55, V.G.Hospital, Halifax.

  

In 1921, a younger daughter, Vera Bernice Wood, born 1910 Parrsboro is living
with Greenfield relatives in River Hebert.

  

Ethel's m/1 Frederick Anthony "Anton" Schneider was killed in the 1917 Halifax
Explosion.

  

Vivian Grace Wood m/1 James Michael Butler, possibly Stateside; issue of
Virginia Pauline Butler, born Buffalo, N.Y., and William Butler - maybe Capt.
William Wallace Wood Butler, (1930-2010 Fox Harbour, N.S.).

  

Virginia returns to Canada and as a widow, m/2 1939, Halifax, widower, Herbert
John Johnston from Scotland.

  

Herbert died 1963 in Glenholme; Vivian died 1989 in Truro.

  

Virginia's Seeyle marriage resulted in son, Michael R. Seeyle, living Amherst
(1950 N.S.-2018 Moncton) being raised in several foster homes.

  

Daughter, Wendy Seeyle is living in Bedford. Daughter, Beverley (Seeyle)
Sumpter has been recently widowed (2017) in Beltsville, Md. She is also a
genealogist researching her various family trees.
