[nscumber] Obit: HARRISON, Rosemary [nee ELLIS]

Rosemary Harrison

1946-2020

Rosemary Harrison

It is with great sadness and broken hearts to announce the sudden passing of
Rosemary Harrison, 73 years of age of Springhill. She was a daughter of the
late Albert and Effie (McNeil) Ellis.

Rosemary lived her life to the fullest, despite having a stroke back in 1997,
there was nothing that would stop her from doing what she loved to do. For
years, she managed the NSLC in Springhill where she was able to socialize with
everyone in town and provide for her family. She loved playing cards,
especially crib and 45's. Nothing was more important to Rosemary than her
family. She was so proud of her grandchildren and loved to spoil them with
love and special gifts. Rosemary always welcomed people in need, into her home
whether it be for a meal or a place to sleep. She loved to shop at Giant Tiger
and was always proud to share all of the deals she found along the way. Only a
heart as dear as Rosemary's would give so unselfishly.

Rosemary will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 54 years Gary (Joe);
her daughter Joanne Davis (Donald) of Greenwood; her son Danny (Mary Vickery)
of Springhill; her son Jerry (Shannon) of Springhill; her ten grandchildren;
sister Beverly White (Gerald) of Springhill; sister and brother in laws and
several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Elroy and her special
best friend, Dorothy MacPhee.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane St., Springhill, NS, (902-597-2361). No visitation by request. A
graveside service will be held at the Mapleton Cemetery at a later date.

Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian
Diabetic Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation . Sharing of memories
and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting Rosemary's online
memorial at www.brownsfuneralhome.com or through the A.H. Brown Funeral Home
