TUTTLE, Eric Austin - 57, Tidnish, Cumberland Co., died Monday,
January 28, 2002, at home. Born in Amherst, he was a son of Mrs.
Marion Baxter, Amherst and the late Chalmers Tuttle. Eric enjoyed
carpentry, fishing, hunting, hobby farming, mechanics and cruising
with his dog Daisy. Besides his mother, Eric is survived by his
daughters, Shelley Mattix (Greg), Bass River; Charlene Tuttle
(Rick Short) and Tanya Comeau (Ricky), both of Tidnish; son, Kevin
Tuttle (Diane MacIntyre), Tidnish; sister, Judy Haynes (Harvey),
Brookdale; grandchildren, Mikkii, Cory, Katelyn, Johnathon,
Tyler, Kirkland, Mackenzie and Jackson; three nieces and one
nephew; his long-time companion, Eileen Nash, Hampton, N.B. He was
predeceased by his brother, Donnie; stepfather, Matt Baxter. His
remains are resting in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St.,
Amherst with visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral service will be
held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Campbell's Chapel, Rev. Allan Griffin
officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in Riverside
Cemetery, Tidnish. Donations in his memory may be made to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Diabetes
Association or a charity of your choice.
