A pretty wedding was solemnized on Saturday evening, September 28th, at the
Pentecostal Tabernacle, Fraser ville, when Rev. Mr. Lowe united in marriage,
Melba Elaine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Collins, Ward's Brook and
David Victor, son of Mr. and Mr s. Burton Shute of Mahone Bay.



They will re side in Mahone Bay.

SHUTE, David Victor, Age 78, Lower Sackville, went to be with his
Lord and Saviour on December 10, 2009, in QEII Health Sciences
Centre. Born in Second Peninsula, Lunenburg Co., he was a son of
the late Rev. Burton and Janet (Miller) Shupe. He was an honourary
member of Life Song Christian Church. He was employed for over 25
years with CBC retiring in 1989. He was an avid gardener. David
cherished time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived
by his loving wife of over 52 years, the former Melba Collins;
daughters, Sharon (Graham) Yeadon and Sandra (William) Levangie,
all of Bedford; sisters, Faith (Jim) Hiltz and Esther (Clark)
Swinamer, all of Martin's Point; brothers, Robert (Minerva) Shute,
Alberta; Rev. Andrew (Ruth) Shute, Gold River; grandchildren,
Jonathan and David Levangie and Leanne and Ryan Yeadon. He was
predeceased by sisters, Velma Lowe and Lillian Hiltz. Visitation
2-4 p.m. Sunday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Full Gospel
Church, 806 Kearney Lake Rd., Halifax. Burial in Oakridge Memory
Gardens. Reception to follow in the church hall. Donations may
be made to Gideon Bible, Cup of Water Project or charity of ones
choice. Special thanks to family Doctor Brian Ashton, Victorian
Order of Nurses , RJF Home Care and staff of 8.1 QEII. On-line
