Thanks Wanda.
I just found your grandmother in the "A Collection of 1977 - 2000 Springhill,
N.S. genealogical data", published 2004.

Her maiden name is MacDonald. She was the daughter of Arthur and
Winnie(Wesslby). Although not listed in the obituary-she is my mother. And I
also have another sister-Susan Fancy. And 5 grandchildren not mentioned.
Thanks Wanda (Boss) Skidmore

Jane M. Boss
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Maria Boss of
Springhill, NS on March 25th at the age of 77.
Ma was a kind soul; she loved being surrounded by family and friends and
thrived off of loving each and every one of them. She would always take the
time to talk, and gave the best hugs you could ever receive.
She was a beautiful baker and her sweets were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone
in the neighborhood. She enjoyed crafting, playing games (and cheating),
Sunday drives, and she had a tremendous love of Christmas.
She faced many challenges, but she was always a strong and patient woman and
she made the most out of each and every day, always with a smile on her face.
Ma will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Marlene who cared for her and
loved her every day; her son in-law (and favorite boy) Derrick; granddaughter
and best friend Chrissy; faithful friend Holly; beloved cousins Stephen and
Liz, Doris and Dorothy and many more special family members and friends.
Ma is now reunited with beloved husband of fifty-six years, Pop; her only son
Larry; her brother Donnie; parents Arthur and Winnie; and special friends
Frank and Lorraine.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane Street, Springhill (902-597-2361). A private graveside service will
be held at The Leamington Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at High
Crest Nursing Home and Dr. Fashoranti, who gave Ma the best care possible and
allowed her to pass with grace and dignity.
Also, a very special thank you to Maddi Mitchell, Jeanie Mae Smith, Monika
Ferrigno, and Jessica McFadden, who loved Ma unconditionally and went above
and beyond to care for her and make her feel appreciated and loved.
Donations in Jane's name may be made to the Leamington Cemetery, or a charity
of your choice.
Sharing of memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting
Jane's online memorial at www.brownsfuneralhome.com or through the A.H. Brown
Funeral Home Facebook Page.
