Allison E. Corbett

1933 - 2020

  

  Corbett, Allison E. - Age 86, of Five Islands passed away Sunday, April 26,
2020 at Vimy Court, Bible Hill. Born in Five Islands, he was a son of the late
Frank and Ruby (Fader) Corbett. He was a retired forestry worker, painter, and
retired after many years working with Stanfield's in Truro. Allison loved
hunting and his passion was hockey, having played goalie until he was 77. He
enjoyed his time spent at his camp in Gundalow, with long-time friend, Jack
Campbell. He is survived by daughters, Linda Corbett (Jack D'Elia), Parrsboro;
Margie Corbett (Scott McCallum), Truro; sons, Allison Corbett, Parrsboro;
Jamie Corbett (Angela), Lower Five Islands; 11 grandchildren; several great-
grandchildren. As well, his long-term companion, Phebe Smith. He was
predeceased by his wife, Margaret; a son, Frank. With respect to the health
safety of others surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of Allison's
life will be scheduled at a later date once health restrictions are lifted.
Memorial donations may be made to Peniel United Cemetery.
