SWINAMER-MOORE, Ruby Muriel - 70, Three Mile Plains, Hants County, died May 1,
1994, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Mapleton, Hants County,
she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Gladys (Parker) Swinamer. She was
formerly employed for many years at the Avon Valley Greenhouses, Falmouth, and
had previously worked at J.W. Masons and Sons, apple wholesalers. She and her
husband had operated Ruby's Canteen at Mountain Road, Three Mile Plains. She
is survived by her companion, Sydney Eldridge, Wile Settlement, Hants County;
**three daughters, Bonnie (Mrs. Warren O'Leary), Upper Falmouth; Debbie (Mrs.
Richard Trider), Pamela Leopold, both of Three Mile Plains** ; three sisters,
Geraldine (Dolly) (Mrs. Herman Caldwell), Cecelia (Mrs. Lawrence Lowe),
Caroline (Mrs. Carleton Swinamer), all of Three Mile Plains; four brothers,
Floyd, Leslie, Victor, all of Three Mile Plains; Robert, Wile Settlement;
eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. She
was predeceased by her husband, Percy (Pip) Swinamer; two sisters, Norma,
Isabel; brother, Laurie. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be
2 p.m. today in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home, Rev. Duanne Tanswell
officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor. Donations may be
made to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.

OBITUARY: Percy Basil Swinamer

Three Mile Plains - Percy Basil Swinamer, 50, of Three Mile Plains, died
Wednesday at the Hants Community Hospital. Born in Three Mile Plains, he was
the son of Hattie and the late Harry Swinamer. He is survived by his wife, the
former Rubie Swinamer; **three foster daughters, Juanita (Mrs. Warren
O'Leary); Deborah (Mrs. Richard Trider); and Pamela, all of Three Mile Plains;
one foster son, Emmet Julian** , at home; two sisters, Violet (Mrs. Lory
Swinamer) and Mrs. Doris Hazel; and two brothers, Howard and Raymond, all of
Three Mile Plains. He was predeceased by one sister. The body is at Lohnes
Funeral Home, Windsor, where funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m.,
Rev. E.E. Hill officiating, with burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.
