Obituary Overview

  

In Loving Memory of Isabel

It's with broken hearts that the family of Isabel Marion Miller of Amherst
formerly of River Hebert announce her passing on April 10, 2020 with family by
her side at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst.

  

Born in River Hebert, Nova Scotia on April 23, 1930 she was the daughter of
the late Lawson and Violet (Vance) Hoeg.

  

Isabel enjoyed music, especially singing with her daughter and granddaughter
at various open mics. She also enjoyed playing crib and poker with family and
friends.

  

Isabel will be sadly missed by her children, Jean (Arthur) Reid, Mary (Bill)
LeBlanc and David (Charmaine) Miller; step son Paul (Bette) Holder;
grandchildren Laura Rogers, Stephanie Reid, Arthur Reid, Dale Melanson, Laurie
Melanson and Lisa McIver; 4 great grandchildren; sisters Flora (Cletus) Doucet
and Jean Hoeg Joel; brother in law Johnny (Wendy) Miller and Brad (Carolyn)
Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

  

Besides her parents Isabel was predeceased by her husband Fred; daughter Donna
Melanson; grandson Rodney Melanson; sister Hazel Wilson; brothers Earl Hoeg
and Bill "Manny" Hoeg.

  

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Isabel's service to celebrate her life will be
held at a later date.

  

A special thanks to the nurses at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre,
especially Jackie Rumboldt-Fisher who made video chats possible.

  

Donations may be made in Isabel's memory to the River Hebert Cemetery.
