CHARLES' OBITUARY
Shubert, Charles "Charlie" \- 86, Oxford, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020
at home. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late William and Alfreda
(Denbenskie) Shubert. Charlie served in the Canadian Army as a paratrooper. He
later worked most of his life as a carpenter and security guard. He enjoyed
the outdoors especially hunting, fishing and spending time with his best
friend, Gismo. Survived by sons, Curtis (Doreen) and Darrell; daughters,
Sheryl (Terry) Cormier and Sandra Shubert (Andrew Farrell); grandchildren,
Jason Noseworthy (Sarah Snelgrove); Michael (Sarah) McClary; Tara (Jeff)
Shubert; Leslie (Brad) Keirstead; Paul Puddicombe (Tiffany Mack); 9 great-
grandchildren; brothers, Eddie (Gloria) and Wayne. Predeceased by wife, Jean;
grandson, Chris; brothers, Bill and Dennis; daughter-in-law, Sherry.
Arrangements are under the care of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home and Crematorium,
Oxford (902-447-2930). A service will be held at a later date.
