JEFFERS, Carol Mildred - 68, Mount Pleasant, Cumberland Co., passed away peacefully Monday, August 26, 2002, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Oxford Junction, she was a daughter of the late H. Stanley and Audrey L.F. (Fisher) Stone. She was an adherent of All Souls' Anglican Church, Oxford. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid quilter
and enjoyed sewing. Surviving are her husband, Hugh L. Jeffers; daughters, Ramona Greenan (Brian), Ottawa, Ont.; Deborah Everitt (Ronald), Truro; Kathryn Jeffers, at home; Susan Fraser (Bruce), Edmonton, Alta.; Trina Jeffers and Amanda Jeffers, both of Halifax; sons, Marcus Jeffers (Velma), John Jeffers (Gladys), Wesley Jeffers and Paul Jeffers, all of Oxford; Timothy Jeffers, Amherst; grandchildren, Jessica and Marcus Everitt, Nathan and Rebecca Greenan, Corey Jeffers, Kyle Laird, Samantha Greeno, Patrick Wood (April), Scott and Christopher Fraser; great-grandson, Liam Wood; sister, Shirley Allen (Ken), Edmonton, Alta.; brother, Harold Stone (Mildred), Oxford Junction; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by daughter, Lillian Jeffers in infancy; half-sister, Hilda Boston; half-brother, Ross Stone. Visitation will be this afternoon and this evening in Allen's Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. William Cook officiating. Cremation will take place with private family graveside service in Oxford Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date. Donations to any charity.
