Obit: MURRAY, Clyde Richard Jr. III

MURRAY, Clyde Richard Jr. III - 33, Pleasant Street Extension, Springhill, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2002, at his residence. Born in Springhill, he was a son of Clyde Richard Murray Sr. and Margaret (Hale) Murray of Springhill. He was a graduate of Springhill High School and Acadia University majoring in French, he was an adherent to the St. David's Presbyterian Church, Springhill. He was employed with Corrections Canada at the Springhill Institution for nine years and was well respected by his co-workers. He enjoyed all sports, reading, his friends and family and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He is survived by sisters, Brenda (Daniel) Pirrie, Pugwash; brothers, David (Barbara) Murray, Rodney, Cumberland County; Drew (Ellen) Murray, Springhill; Ian (Robyn) Murray, Dartmouth; his favourite aunt, Audrey (Bill) Atkinson, Springhill; two cousins, several nieces, nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill. A private service with immediate family only, will take place at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
