SMITH, Andrew Bridges "Andy" - 53, Amherst, died Wednesday, August 7, 2002, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Lower Sackville, he was a son of the late Chipman Henry and Mary Ida (Ferguson) Smith. Andy enjoyed golf all his life and was a member of the Amherst Golf Club where he was a golf pro. He also enjoyed curling. He is survived daughter, Tracey Smith, Jolicure, N.B.; son, Adam Smith, Amherst; brother, Doug Smith (Susan), Victoria, B.C.; nieces, Tertia and Samantha; nephews, David and Adrian. Andy was predeceased by his wife, the former Theresa Marie Foisey. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. today in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, Deacon Howard Gotell officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. www.campbellsfh.com
