FISHER, Roy Vincent - 65, 44 Village Rd., Springhill Junction, Cumberland Co., passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2002, at his residence. Born in Springhill Junction, he was a son of the late Burl Allen and Josephine Louise (Beaton) Fisher. He was an adherent to The Salvation Army. He worked with the CNR for 25 years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, playing cards and his family. He is survived by sisters, Marie (Conan) Ripley, Fenwick, Cumberland Co.; Geraldine (Harold) Spence, Springhill; brothers, Garnet Fisher, Toronto, Ont.; Clarence "Teddy" (Vivian) Fisher, Kirkland Lake, Ont.; Kenneth (Brigitte) Fisher, Moncton; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Burl A. Fisher Jr. Visiting will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in A. H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 10, Pastor Scott Balser officiating. Burial in Springhill Junction Cemetery. Donations to Springhill Junction Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
