SMITH (Roblee), Ada May - 71, Elgin Street, Springhill, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2002, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Annie E. (MacNeil) Brown. She was a member of the Springhill Senior Citizens Club. Surviving are sons, Douglas (Debra), Lincoln, N.B.; John (Jane), Oxford; Bill (Laura), Lunenburg; daughter, Jean (Robert) Quinn, Springhill; stepdaughter, Georgina Smith, Bridgewater; brother, Duncan Brown, Pugwash; sisters, Jean (Jerry) Cameron, Vancouver; Donna (Edward) McFadden, Springhill; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, G. Randall Smith; brother, John Brown; sisters, Mary Rector and Georgina Corkum. Cremation has taken place under the direction of MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, 5075 Main St., Oxford, where visitation will be Tuesday evening, 7-9 p.m. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, Rev. Brent MacDonald officiating. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or IWK Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
