MATTIX, Meghan Candace Patricia - 26, 2 Victoria St., Springhill, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2002, in All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of Bryan Douglas and Candace Morleyne (Brown) Mattix. Meghan was a Springhill High School graduate and had obtained a diploma in travel and tourism from Scotia Career Academy. She was employed with Wandlyn Inn, Amherst. She enjoyed life to the fullest, traveling, camping, the gym and her many friends and family. She is survived by her companion, Jason McBurnie; sister, Melanie (Fred) Cameron, Amherst; brothers, Ryan and Nathan Mattix, both at home; maternal grandparents, Morley and Candace Brown, Springhill; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Patricia Hulbert, Springhill; niece, Emmalee Cameron; nephew, Eric Cameron; two aunts, one uncle and several cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Douglas Mattix. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. today in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, where funeral
service will be held 7 p.m. tonight with Rev. Elizabeth Davies officiating. Burial in Mapleton Cemetery, Cumberland County. Donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
