Hi Clemm
I just spoke with my dad and confirmed what I had remembered as a story from
my grandmother about Anthony's death.
He was returning from work one evening when he crossed a small two plank
make-shift bridge. He lost his balance and fell off the bridge. It was
surmised that he hit his head as his cause of death was listed as drowning
but there was only a couple inches of water beneath the bridge.
As for him being in Bath, Maine, I can only assume he worked there part of
the year as a carpenter as did my grandfather, Arlie in his early years.
Hope this helps
Sharon
