Re: Lucretia Jane Lunn

> Carolyn:

I have a copy of the Lunn Book, and there is no listing for a Lucretia Jane or
Lucy
Lunn. I also checked the Vital Statistics & Census records (Don Lewis files)
and
had the same results. Do you have any other information that might help narrow

down the search? For example, who did Lucretia marry, where is she buried,
names of her children, where did she live. I have found that sometimes what
we've been told by our grandparents is slightly different from the actual name.

For example, my grandmother told me for years that her father was named John
Wesley Rector (true) and that he was named after his father, also John Wesley
Rector. I found out that Sr. was actually John William. My grandmother still
doesn't believe me, but she's 93 and I'm not going to argue. She also said
that
her great-grandmother's maiden name was McCulley, but it's actually
McCullough.

Anyway, if you have any additional information that might help focus the
search,
let me know and I'll look further.

Sorry that I couldn't help more.
