SCHEINFELDT, Dorothy - 84, Southampton, Cumberland Co., recently of Centennial Villa, Amherst, died Friday, May 10, 2002, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Mary Anne (Price) MacMillan. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church in Amherst and the Order of Eastern Star. Formerly she was a member of the Women's Institute, Southampton, the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary, All Saints Hospital, Springhill, was Past Matron of Unity Chapter 112, O.E.S., Camp Springs, Maryland and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Tall Cedars of Lebanon in Florida and Washington, D.C. She is survived by son, Edward and his wife Mary, Germany; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, all of Michigan. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert; sisters, Irene, Katherine, Jane; brother, Jack. A graveside committal service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, in Southampton Cemetery, followed by a reception for friends and family in Southampton Community Hall. Memorial donations may be made to All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Arrangements are entrusted to Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro.
