SANDERSON, Ethel Elizabeth - 83, Victoria Manor, Amherst, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2002, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Upper Nappan, she was a daughter of the late Douglas and Janie (Smith) Ripley. She is survived by daughters, Alma Sanderson (Pete Scharnau), Kamloops, B.C.; Charlotte Hacquoil (John), Dartmouth; son, Doug (Betty), Glace Bay; sister, Bona Ripley (Rupert), Nappan; brothers, Garnet (Cathy), Estevan, Sask.; Ivan (Carrie), Hastings; Owen (Elizabeth), Edson, Alta.; six grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles; infant sister, Mary; infant brother, Freddy; great-grandson, Nicholas Caudle. Arrangements are entrusted to Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst. Cremation has taken place. As requested by Ethel, there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held in Amherst
Cemetery at a later date. Any memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
