Obit: RECTOR, Mildred Hazel

RECTOR, Mildred Hazel - 81, Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of Elmsdale and Stellarton, died Thursday, April 18, 2002, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Upper Musquodoboit, she was a daughter of the late William and Annie (Walsh) Farnell. She was a resident of the villa for the past four years having previously resided in Stellarton since 1962 where she was a member of Sharon St. John United Church and the UCW. Surviving are sons, Wilfred (Sis), William (Sandy), both of Fort St. John, B.C.; daughter, Audrey (Leroy) Isenor, Dutch Settlement; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy, Sheet Harbour. She was predeceased by her husband, Cranzwick; brothers, George, Wilfred, Daniel, Merrill, Ernest and Albert; sisters, Isa, Margaret and Georgina. Cremation to take place. The family will receive visitors in H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton, from 7-9 p.m. today. A public memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Sharon St. John United
Church, Stellarton, Rev. Howard Crooks officiating. Burial of cremains will take place in Elmsdale Cemetery at a later date. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Mildred may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton.
