CHASE, Harry W. - 76, Oxford, Cumberland Co., died Friday, April 19, 2002, in The Moncton Hospital, Moncton, N.B. Born in Oxford, he was the son of the late Harry W. Sr. and Georgie (Fraser) Chase. He retired as the owner/operator of the famous Harry's Restaurant, Oxford "all you can eat for $1.00" in the early 1970s. He is survived by his first wife, the former Bertine Kuiper, Riverview, N.B.; daughter, Tanya L. Thompson, Riverview, N.B.; sister, Sarah (Don) Downing, Amherst; grandson, Christopher and granddaughter, Robin, both of Riverview. He was predeceased by his second wife, the former Evelyn Gower; son, Gregory; daughter, Marika "Patti" Chase. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, followed by funeral service at 2 p.m., both in MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, 5057 Main St., Oxford, Rev. Gary MacDougall officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Pleasant. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated. On-line condolences to:
