STERLING, Joy Beverley - 70, Two Islands Road, Parrsboro, died Thursday, April 11, 2002, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Curtis Byrnes and the late Pearl (Walters) (Byrnes) Isnor. She was an Avon Representative for 52 years. She was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary Parrsboro Legion Branch 45, was a past Queen Lioness and a member of the Parrsboro Curling Club. She is survived by her husband, Bill; daughter, Beverley Anne Smith and her husband, Ernie, Middle Sackville; grandson, Michael, Middle Sackville; sister, Barbara Reagan and her husband, Keith, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; stepmother, Helen (Lunn) Byrnes, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday in St. George's Anglican Church, Parrsboro, Rev. Robert Richmond officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
