Obit: MOSHER, Lloyd Forest

Lloyd Forest Mosher 1923-2002 SCARBOROUGH, ON - Lloyd Forest Mosher, age 78, of Scarborough, Ontario (formerly of Alma, NB) passed away peacefully in West Hill, Scarborough, Ontario on Saturday, March 30, 2002. Born on July 25, 1923 in Apple River, NS, he was the son of the late Burton and Luella
(McQuaid) Mosher. He was a World War II Veteran and served in the Signal Corps in England. He worked as a postal carrier in Moncton for many years as well as a cook at the Woodbine Race Track in Toronto, Ontario. Lloyd was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Moncton and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Village in West Hill, Scarborough, ON. Lloyd will be sadly missed by his wife Noreen (Brough) Mosher of Sackville, NB; three daughters, Sheila (Ken) Harper and Cindy (Alan) Prescott, both of Sackville, NB and Heather (Roger) Savoie of Saint John; one son Lloyd Norman Jr. of
Moncton; one sister Mona (Nat) Sanford of Alma, NB; five grandchildren, Bruce, Tammy, Erica, Gray and Jessica; four great grandchildren, Jessie, Briley, Cody and Kaitlyn; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two brothers Stanley and Ken. He is in the care of Ingram's Funeral Home in Toronto, Ontario where cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request of the family. Funeral service will be held from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Sackville, NB on Friday, April 5, 2002 at 1 p.m. with Father Kevin Stockall officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Alma Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lloyd's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
