Obit: GOODWIN, Norman Stewart "Governor"

GOODWIN, Norman Stewart "Governor" - 78, Amherst, died Friday, March 1, 2002, in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Sackville, N.B., he was a son of the late Winford and Jennie (Rye) Goodwin. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Amherst and an associate member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 10, Amherst. In his younger years Norman worked on various farms in New Brunswick. He is survived by brother, Alfred Goodwin, Amherst; half-brother, Doug Goodwin, French Village, N.B.; half-sister, Anna Manship, French Village. He was predeceased by his infant brother, Phillip; sisters, Vivian and Mary. His remains are resting in Campbells Funeral Home, 98 Church St.,
Amherst, with visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Campbells
Chapel, Rev. Byron Corkum officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in Fairfield Cemetery, New Brunswick. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice. www.seaofmemories.com
