SPANKS, Margaret Mary - 76, North Main Street, Trenton, died Monday, May 21, 2001, at home. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Robert H. and Minnie (Wade) Forrestall. She was a former employee of the Aberdeen Hospital. She was a member of First United Church and The Stellarton Friendly Group. Surviving are daughter, Nancy Spanks, New Glasgow; sons, Bill Dean, New Glasgow; Jimmy Dean, Toronto; Kenny Spanks, Australia; Gary Spanks, Trenton; Barry Spanks, Bibson, B.C.; sister, Etta Forrestall, Stellarton; brothers, Donald and John, both of Stellarton; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, James Spanks; son, Dennis Spanks; sister, Bessie Larade; brother, Percy. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday in First United Church, Trenton, Mr. Fergie MacKay officiating. Burial in Lorne Street Cemetery.
