Obit: FRASER (Crease), Mary Ruth

FRASER (Crease), Mary Ruth - Daughter of Albert James and Mary Maude Crease, Amherst, passed away peacefully in The Beverly Centre, Calgary, Tuesday, March 27, 2001, just short of her 91st
birthday. Ruth was born in Amherst and always loved the Maritimes and the family cottage at Amherst Shore. As a result of their military life, Ruth and her husband Innes lived and raised their family in Regina, Halifax, Fredericton, Ottawa and Montreal. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, love of life and her contagious laughter. Ruth will be sadly missed by daughter, Isabel (Ralph) Ansley, Manly, Australia; son, Charles "Chuck" (Nadine) Fraser, Calgary; sister, Muriel (Mornie) Swetnam, Halifax; daughter-in-law, Marion Fraser, Calgary. Grandma Ruth is survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, Col. N. Innes Fraser, (Kingston, Ont.); son, Robert "Bob" J.I. Fraser; brother, Charlie; sisters, Avice and Helen. At Ruth's request, no funeral service will be held. Memorial service for family and close friends at a later date.
