Since the death I have for Benjamin SMITH, Jr is 14 April 1844, it would confirm that she married him sometime before then. If she was 83 in Jan 1908 when she died, she must have been born in 1824 or 1825; she'd be 19 or 20 when Benjamin died. If she married as young as 16, they wed in 1840-1841.

Amy Jane was likely born in the 1842-1844 range. Hey,maybe Benjamin died in childbirth...that would be a first!
