DAMERY, Margaret Mary - Montreal, formerly of Amherst, died July 5, 1999, in St. Luke's Hospital, Montreal. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Elizabeth St. Peter. Surviving are her companion, Lucien Baron; daughters, Terri, Tracy, Tonya Despres, Amherst; son, Percy Downey, Amherst; brothers, Joey St. Peter; Freddie, Eddie, Amherst; sister, Lorraine Hope, Amherst; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by infant sons, Carl Steven Downey and Duane Clarence Despres. Visitation 2-4, 7- 9 p.m., parish prayers 8 p.m. Thursday, both in Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst. Funeral 10 a.m. Friday from Nativity of Our Lady Church, Rev. John Hayes officiating. Burial in the St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Kidney Foundation, The Lung Association or any charity.
