JOHNSON, Mary Elizabeth - 77, Oxford, died June 25, 1999, in East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash. Born in Oxford, she was a daughter of the late Percival H. and Bessie L. (Robb) Johnson. She retired from the Bank of Nova Scotia, Oxford, in 1982 following 38 years of service. She was a member of Oxford United Baptist Church where she served as church clerk and was a member of the choir. Surviving are stepbrother, Norman Brown, Sudbury, Ont.; half-brother, Scott Johnson, British Columbia; stepsister, Sylvia McTavish, Kelowna, B.C.; half-sister, Queade Abramson, Abbotsford, B.C. She was predeceased by sister, Frances Salter; half-brother, Garth Johnson. There will be no
visitation. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday in United Baptist Church, Oxford, Rev. Kevin Smith officiating. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Oxford. Donations to Oxford United Baptist Church or Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to MacDiarmid's Funeral Home, Oxford.
