Obit: MILLER, Dorothy Nina 1932-2000

Dorothy Nina Miller, of Warren Ave., Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital
on Wednesday, November 22, 2000, after a lengthy and courageous battle, at the age of 68 years. Born in Amherst, NS, on July 14, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Ethel (Merrill) Nearing. She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Anglican Church. She is survived by two sons, Peter, at home, Douglas and his wife, Barbara of Riverview; three daughters, Margot Lamphier of Stratford, PEI, Susan and her husband, David Harvey of Oshawa, ON, Charlene, at home; and by one brother, Merrill Nearing and his wife, Agnes of Saint John, NB; she will be greatly missed by five grandchildren, Jennifer, Kimberly, Adam, Alex and Kacey. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Sterling in July of 1988; one brother, Charles in 1989; and son-in-law, Eddie Lamphier in 1995. Resting at the Riverview Funeral Home, with visitation on Friday, November 24, 2000, from
2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 25, 2000, at 2pm with Rev. Albert Snelgrove officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In Dorothy's memory donations made to the Canadian Diabetic Association, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
