Re: [nscumber] anniversary

speaking of local histories.. I remember in the 70's reading in the
pans...an article in a 'local' cumberland co. newspaper... about the history
of the community.....another article, i have (but do not know the paper or
community) tells of a diary of a loyaist.woman's daily journal .of the
voyage from new york and thots upon going a shore..in 1783.
It surely helps us to understand conditions. Even if there is no genlogical
info to speak of...

Is there a site or repository for such articles?..or maybe different
communities in cumberland county have ...local histories ..written by the
old timers....
How would one find out if such is available..eg Wallace, Westchester River
Philip, Fox harbor etc...
