GAUDET, Ernest J. - 84, Parrsboro, Cumberland Co., and formerly of Weymouth, died May 26, 2000, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Weymouth, he was a son of the late Emadedi and Madeline (Doucett) Gaudet. He was a retired lumberman, truck driver and surveyor. He was a past member of the Knight's of Columbus. Surviving are companion, Mrs. Gertrude Mills, Parrsboro; daughters, Phyllis Dougas, Weymouth; Carol Weatherby, New Minas; Julie Ann Trask, Gilbert's Cove; son, Thomas MacDonald, Weymouth; sisters, Mrs. Ida Sabean, Havelock; Mrs. Emma Ford, Weymouth; brothers, Joseph, New Tusket; Edward, Meteghan; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Elsie Gaudet; son, Gordon; sister, Pauline; brother, Alphonse. Memorial service in Weymouth at a later date. Donations to any charity.
