North Cumberland Historical Society

All this discussion as to how to get in contact with the above society
leads me to get a plug in for a site that many don't seem to know about:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~nscumber/cumberlist

This is a site known only to Cumberland mailing list members and gives all
the information you ever wanted to have on institutions and websites for
Cumberland County researchers. It gives addresses, opening hours, web
pages and email addresses for most of the institutions so you can look them
up and contact them easily.

The last item on the left hand menu is called Resources Chart. This lists
all the known CC records and where to find them or copies or microfilms of
them. I have added a lot of items to this since it was originally posted
and I hope to get it to Brian soon to replace the present chart. I have
asked him to put this LIST OF INSTITUTIONS up on the Genweb site in place
of the present "LINKS" page, which is very incomplete, so that this
information is readily available to everyone. Diane Shaw, Susan Hill and I
worked for weeks on these 2 projects and we hope that you will find it
useful.
