GEORGE, Elaine M. - 56, Whitehall Road, Parrsboro, died April 24, 2000, in South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Five Islands, Colchester Co., she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Myrtle (MacAloney) Allen. She, with her husband, operated the Parrsboro Rock and Mineral Shop for many years. Surviving are her husband, Eldon; son, Wayne, Parrsboro; sisters, Mrs. Blanche Taylor, Mrs. Ethel Taylor, Truro; brother, Russell, Five Islands; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Doris; brothers, Wayne, Bernard, Donald. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Parrsboro Baptist Church, Rev. Jeffrey White and Rev. Ralph Morris officiating. Donations to the Parrsboro Baptist Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity.
