DOBSON stray Williams

Looking for information on the following individuals, anything that might help fill in the blanks. I don't know how or if these Dobsons connect to my group.

1. William DOBSON, b. by 1791 (parentage unknown), m. 23 May 1809 Sydney, Mary McDUGAL. Death dates and burial locations unknown.

William and Mary had two known children:
1. William, bapt. 8 Apr 1810, Sydney
2. Allen Esckill , b. 24 Jan 1813, Sydney, d. 7 Nov 1876 (age 63, married)
Cumberland County. He may have married 25 Jan 1844 Halifax, Rebecca BAKER.

2. William DOBSON, b. circa 1811 (believed to be the son of William DOBSON and Mary McDUGAL), m. at West Brook, Martha Eleanor JENKS (b. 21 Jan 1815 Parrsboro, daughter of James Edwin JENKS and Jane Elizabeth DUNN). William died sometime after the 1871 Census, where he is listed in Maccan. Martha died after the 1901 Census, where she is listed with her daughter Mary HATFIELD in Port Greville. Burial locations for William and Martha unknown.

William and Martha had six known children:
1. Joseph, b. circa 1845
2. Mary, b. 3 Jan 1846, m. 27 May 1873 Parrsboro, Charles HATFIELD
(b. 20 Dec 1841 Parrsboro)
Four known children: Rupert Feander (aka Burton), Arthur Seaman, Lottie,
and Kenibdid [?].
3. James, b. circa 1848
4. Jane, b. circa 1850, m. 10 Apr 1875 Parrsboro, James L. GOW
(b. circa 1852 Parrsboro)
5. John, b. circa 1853
6. Allen, b. circa 1856

3. William Stairs DOBSON, b. circa 1814 (parentage unknown), m. 7 Jul 1840 Tarbat By Fearn, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland [?] (Church of Scotland records suggest the marriage occurred in or near Wallace NS), Jane McDONALD. As early as 1871, the couple lived in Tatamagouche, Colchester County. William d. Jul 1896. Jane d. 5 Nov 1896. Both are buried in Bayhead Cemetery, Colchester County.

William and Jane had nine known children:
1. Isabella, b. 18 Jun 1841, m. 21 Oct 1871 Wallace, James SPINNEY
(b. 16 Apr 1839 Goshen, son of Jacob and Susan SPINNEY)
Four known children: Emma, Jane, Jacob, and George Roy.
2. Alexander, b. circa 1843, d. 8 May 1873 Tatamagouche, bur. Bayhead Cemetery
3. Catherine, b. 18 Aug 1848, d. 1920, bur. Bayhead Cemetery
4. Mary J., b. 1851, d. 1921, bur. Bayhead Cemetery
5. Eliza, b. circa 1853, d. by 1901, m. 7 Nov 1873 West Tatamagouche,
Stephen ROBINSON (b. 6 Mar 1854, son of Frederick and Sarah ROBINSON)
One known child: William.
6. John, b. circa 1854, d. 11 Feb 1915 Tatamagouche, bur. Bayhead Cemetery
7. Roderick T., b. 17 Nov 1855, d. unknown, m. 13 Jan 1882 River John, Pictou County,
Catherine M. GUNN (b. 17 Oct 1855, d. 26 Feb 1918, bur. Tatamagouche Village
Cemetery at Sharon Church, daughter of Donald and Mary GUNN)
Seven known children: Mary Blanche (m. Parker STRANG), William A., Daniel George,
Frank, Catherine Maud, George R., and Roderick.
8. William Stairs, b. abt 1856, d. 16 Apr 1883, bur. Bayhead Cemetery
9. Thomas C., b. 1869, d. 1939, m. 26 Sep 1906 Truro, Sarah ROBERTS (b. 1882, d. 1944).
Both bur. Bayhead Cemetery, along with an unnamed baby.
