COULTER (Battye), Catherine Jessie - 83, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2000, in Halifax.
Born in Wallace Bridge, she was a daughter of the late J. Willliam and Jessie (Sutherland) Battye.
Catherine was a graduate of Acadia University and received her nursing degree from John Hopkins
University, Baltimore Maryland. Surviving are sons, John and wife Terry; grandchildren, Carolyn and
Donald, Edmonton; and David and wife Patricia; grandchildren, James and Christine, Toronto. She
was predeceased by her husband, Donald J. and sisters, Velma Wheaton and Doris Gruber. A
memorial service will be held in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., on Saturday,
February 12, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
