CHAPMAN, Ronald B. - 72, Woodlawn Ave., Moncton, passed
away in Moncton Hospital on Sunday, October 10, 1999.
Born in Chapmans Corner, Ron was a son of the late Clair and
Evelyn (Goodwin) Chapman. Ron was retired vice-president
and secretary treasurer of Modern Enterprises Ltd. and former
partner of Quality Concrete Ltd. He was a member of Steeves
Memorial United Church, past master of Tweedie Lodge 41,
F & AM, member of Luxor Shrine Temple, Saint John, and past
president of Luxor Mini Car Unit, member of the Moncton Shrine
Club, Frank H. Tingley OES 5, past president of the Moncton
Construction Association and the N.B. Road Builders Association,
and was a member of the Moncton Rotary Club.
Ron will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Mae (Scott)
Chapman; daughters, Phyllis Hope, Moncton; Jackie-Lee Brown (Lloyd),
Calgary; son, Bruce (Lin), Halifax; grandchildren, Ainsley, Sandra,
Kendall, Peter, Eric, Gregory; brother, Douglas (Elizabeth), Moncton;
several nieces and nephews. Resting at Ferguson Knowles Funeral
Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton. Visitation today 2-4, 7-9 p.m.
in Tweedie Lodge 42, F & AM memorial service today at 7 p.m.
Service in Steeves Memorial United Church Wednesday, October
13, at 3 p.m., Rev. Diane MacVicar officiating. Interment in Fair Haven
Memorial Gardens. In Ron's memory, donations to Steeves Memorial
United Church or Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be
appreciated by his family.
