Greg,

Sounds like some garbled spelling to me. Have you actually seen the
record--couldn't it be something else?-- Which leads me to my next
question--did you look at the PANS microfilm of those church records?
Or is there another way you can get your hands at those records. I'd
give my eye teeth to be able to personally scroll through them and
PANS won't loan microfilm, the LDS library doesn't have it and I even
asked NAC and they don't either: This information would help me
personally and be useful for the list of sources I am trying to
compile. If you have the PANS film number that would be useful too.

As for the Trerices, thank you so much for sending me that email. I
am absolutely amazed that those records still exist and could be
consulted. That must have been one progressive foundling home! And
Thomas Coates must have been a fairly benevolent master. I find it so
fascinating even though I have no connection to the Trerices, why
don't you post it to the whole list. I'm sure it would be of general
interest and there are Coates descendants on it I believe.

Has anyone run across the name Dacre in Cumberland County?? I am
searching for information on a Margaret Dacre married Hiram Brown at
St. George's Anglican Church Dec. 1856.
