LANGILLE, Annie Stella - 89, East Cumberland Lodge,
Pugwash, formerly of Wallace, Cumberland Co., passed
away August 28, 1999, in East Cumberland Lodge.
Born in North Wallace, she was a daughter of the late
George and Rachael Jane (Canning) Clark. She was a
lifelong resident of the Wallace area and was a member
of both the St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church and
Women's League, Wallace. Surviving are her daughter,
Wendy Latta and husband Larry, Middle Sackville; sons,
Albert Broughton and Robert Broughton, both of Toronto;
Dennis Maxwell, Newmarket, Ont.; Gordon Lewis and
Benjamin Corkum, both of Truro.; brother, Wilfred Clark,
Truro; grandchildren, Nick and Sarah Latta; Debbie
Hardwick and David Broughton; Brian and Lori-Anne
Broughton; Stacy and Sherri Lewis; Jason Corkum;
great-grandchildren, Tony and Hope Lewis; several
nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her
husband, Hillson; sisters, Freda and Susan Slauenwhite;
Viola Maxwell; brothers, Glendon and Morton Thompson.
There was no visitation by request. Funeral service will be
2 p.m. today in St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church,
Wallace, Rev. H. Martyn VanEssen officiating.
Burial will be in St. Andrew's Anglican Church Cemetery,
Wallace. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to
East Cumberland Lodge, St. Matthew's Presbyterian
Church or a charity of choice. Arrangements have been
entrusted to Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash.
