I am so pleased to have signed on to this new Cumberland county site as I am
doing extensive family research in Cumberland and Colchester counties.
Austin Arthur Smith, born 24 Apr 1886 at East Wentworth, Cumberland married
Lucy M Porter on 16 Mar 1910 at Wentworth, Cumberland. Her parents were
William Porter and Mary. Austin died 28 Feb 1951 at Wentworth, Cumberland and
Lucy died 27 Dec 1967 at Pugwash Junction, Cumberland. They had four
children...Cecil, William Burton, Minnie Ella and Audrey.
Other families which I have in Cumberland county include Campbell, Whidden,
Kirk, Masters, Remington, Johnston, Archibald, Betts, Dykens, Vincent,
Higgins.
