I am researching the following surnames in Cumberland County: Brown-
two lines (1) Hiram Brown married Margaret Dacres (?) Dec 1856 St.
George's Church, Parrsboro (2) Benjamin Brown born abt 1811 married
Eleanor Spicer b. 1817 Advocate, N.S.; Terris/Trerice beginning with
John Trerice born 1759/60 in Shrewsbury, England who married Rhoda
Porter Nov 23, 1780 in Southampton Township; Pleshaw - Family of John
Pleshaw born abt 1804 and Jane Pleshaw born abt 1812 and who lived in
the Port Greville/Advocate area - daughter Caroline married Elias
Brown son of Benjamin Brown and Eleanor Spicer. I would be happy to
hear from anyone with connections to these lines.
