Obituary Overview

In Loving Memory
It is with heavy hearts that the family of ³Roger² Harvey Roger Wagner
age 83, of Amherst announce his passing on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Gables
Lodge. Born in River Hebert he was the son of the late Stanley and Florence
(Rogers) Wagner. Roger was a proud veteran of the Korean War. He also
served in Egypt, Congo and in Germany. He had a passion for the outdoors,
spending time in his flower garden. He was very proud of graduating his
college courses as Drug Addictions Counsellor, and always looked forward to
his club, the VON Day Away Program. He loved to be with his dogs Keno and
Jake, and wherever he was, the dogs were with him. He will be sadly missed
by his wife Pat (Michels) and her children John (Tabitha), Peter
(Cassandra), and Anne (Philip) Black. Roger was predeceased by his brother
Sheldon and nieces Nancy and Janet. A celebration of Roger¹s life will be
held Tuesday, May 30th between 1:00 and 3:00 pm at Campbell¹s Funeral Home,
98 Church St. Amherst NS (902) 667-9906. Following the Celebration an
interment will take place at the Head of the River, Hillside Cemetery, River
Hebert. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VON Day Away Program
or to the L.A. Animal Shelter. Condolences and sharing of memories may be
