Jean B. Spicer

Spicer, Jean B. - Age 95, of Parrsboro, passed away Friday, May 19, in South
Cumberland Care Center, Parrsboro. Born in Lunenburg, she was a daughter of
the late Esson Levy and Arlette (Langille). She worked as a chef at the
former Immunology and Infectious Diseases Hospital, Halifax, as well as at
Willow Nursing Home for a number of years. She was also a Lioness and an
avid knitter. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was
predeceased by her husband, Robert Spicer, in 1993; sisters, Gracy Levy,
Annie Dares; brothers, Harvey, Burton, Warren, Ray and Gordon. Visitation
will be held Sunday, from 6-8 p.m. in Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where
funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m.; Rev. Marlene Quinn officiating.
Burial in Advocate Cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
