BEAVER, Charles Leo Percy - 83, Indian Harbour, passed away November 8,
1999, at the Veteran's Memorial Building, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was
the son of the late Austin and Gladys (Boutilier) Beaver. He was a mechanic
by trade. He was a former member of the Royal Canadian Army and a member of
the Royal Canadian Legion, Seabright branch #116. He is survived by sons
Leon and Barry, both of Dartmouth; daughters, Gail Bradshaw, Halifax; Gladys
Brooks, Hatchett Lake; Peggy Beaver, Stanstead, Quebec; Brenda Jordan, Carol
Morash, both of Dartmouth; Cora Verge, Port Mouton; ***Vina Collins,
Parrsboro***; brothers, Alfred and Clifford, Toronto; 32 grandchildren and
several great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife the former Thelma R.
Boutilier; daughter, Pearl Gray; brother, Robert "Bob"; grandsons, James,
Gary, and Dewayne. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 12,
1999 in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Hackett's Cove, with Rev. Krista Hilton
officiating. Donations may be made to the Veteran's Memorial Hospital Fund.
Arrangements entrusted to J. Albert Walker's Funeral Home, Halifax, NS.

OBITUARY:
Collins, Dewayne James, 17, 128 Flying Cloud Drive, Dartmouth, died suddenly
Monday as a result of a pedestrian - motor vehicle accident. Born in
Halifax, he was a son of John and Vina (Beaver) Collins. He was a Grade 12
student at Cole Harbour High School, Dartmouth. He was a former of Cole
Harbour Bel Aire Minor Hockey League. He is survived by one brother,
Kenneth, Dartmouth; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Marie Collins, Ward's
Brook, N.S.; maternal grandparents, Thelma and Leo Beaver, Dartmouth and
Indian Harbour; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The body is at
Mattatall's Funeral Home, Portland Street, Dartmouth, with visiting today
between 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Church
of the Holy Spirit, Rev. David Ferguson officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m.
in River Bank Cemetery, Port Greville. Donations may be made to any charity.
