All I have is trees I've seen online, but nothing I would call proof that Miner A. Allen is the son of John Allen. I'm wondering how so many children of Miner's son John Moses Allen and Ann Loomer ended up in Maine. Is it possible the family was originally from Maine? My ancestor Hannah Allen had a definite connection to Falmouth because she married Jonathan Vickery there. But I haven't seen that connection for Miner A. Allen unless his wife Mary Elita Delesdernier is definitely the daughter of Moses Delesdernier who had grants there. Did the J. V. Duncanson book for Newton say anything about the Delesdernier family?
