I am researching the ALLEN family from the Parrsboro Shore area, including Port Greville, Advocate, Spencer's Island, Allenville.
I am very interested in the origins of this family. I have records of Miner ALLEN (my 3rdGGF) given a land grant at Parrsboro Shore. He married Mary Elitia DELESDERNIER. I have one source suggesting that Miner ALLEN is from Rhode Island.
I look forward to hearing from list members who are researching this or related family lines.
